Preserving Gurung Heritage

Core Initiatives Section

The West Bengal Gurung Development Board implements comprehensive initiatives aimed at preserving cultural heritage while fostering sustainable community development and youth advancement.

Strengthening community

Our community strengthening program focuses on preserving and revitalizing Gurung traditions through active cultural engagement. We support local organizations in maintaining heritage sites, organizing cultural events, and documenting traditional practices for future generations

Empowering youth

Through targeted educational support and skill development programs, we empower young members of the Gurung community to achieve their full potential. Our initiatives include vocational training, career counseling, and mentorship opportunities to create meaningful pathways to employment and personal growth.
